The SFWMD C-4 Canal Palmetto Phase 2 project is located in Miami, FL and runs parallel to Tamiami Trail. It is a continuation of the C-4 Canal Bank Improvements project and incorporates raising 2,500 feet of canal bank by approximately 3.5 feet, as well as an integrated drainage collection and disposal system. This flood protection berm includes a high-performance reinforcement mat to stabilize canal bank erosion.
